What type of cat litter does it work with?

The XL is optimised for clumping cat litter bentonite clay or clumping silica are both compatible. Clumping litter allows the mechanism to cleanly separate waste from clean litter with each cycle. Non-clumping litter and crystal litter are not recommended, as they can interfere with the sifting mechanism and reduce performance. We suggest a fill depth of 3–5 cm for best results.

Is the litter box safe if my cat enters during a cleaning cycle?

Yes. The XL is equipped with infrared safety sensors that continuously monitor the interior during the cleaning cycle. If your cat re-enters the globe at any point, the motor pauses immediately and resets. The cycle only resumes once the sensor confirms the unit is empty.
